AWS Cloud Architect
Groove Jones is seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Architect to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, high-performance cloud solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
This is a project based contract role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures using AWS services
• Develop and maintain containerized applications on AWS
• Configure and optimize load balancing solutions to ensure high availability and performance
• Create and manage highly scalable, highly available systems with important traffic spikes
• Design and implement efficient database solutions
Required Skills and Experience:
• Extensive experience with Amazon ECS for container orchestration
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes for container management and deployment
• Expert knowledge in configuring and managing AWS load balancing services
• Proven track record in designing and implementing highly scalable systems
• In-depth understanding of Amazon MongoDB and NoSQL database concepts
• Experience with Amazon CloudFront for content delivery optimization
• Proficiency in using AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure automation
• Strong background in serverless architecture and AWS Lambda
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 10+ years of experience with AWS Services
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification preferred

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
